ACCEPTANCE:

I accept students at any level, and from ages 10 and up. Younger students may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis.

HOURS OF OPERATION:

I am currently available to teach weekly lessons from 9am until 9pm, Monday through Wednesday. Single Lessons, Group Lessons, and Makeup Lessons are available on any day of the week at a mutually agreeable time (although I prefer to keep them within my usually day and time frame).

WEEKLY LESSONS:

I provide lessons on a once-per-week basis. Each lesson is 60 minutes long. My rate for recurring weekly lessons is $50.00/hour.

SINGLE LESSONS:

If you only want to take a couple of lessons, or take lessons at a non-specific time interval, I can usually accommodate such a request. My rate for a single lesson without a monthly commitment is $65.00/hour.

GROUP LESSONS/ENSEMBLE COACHING:

I am available to teach one-off group lessons either at my studio or in a location of your choosing. These lessons are typically done in a "workshop style." It can either be a group of guitar students, or a band of musicians on multiple instruments that seek to talk about playing together as a group. Group lessons are 75 minutes long and cost $100.00 for up to four participants, if the chosen location is within 10 miles of my studio. Locations further than 10 miles will be subject to a $2.00/mile travel fee. Additional students beyond the initial four will be charged an additional $25.00 per extra student.

PAYMENT:

I accept payment in the form of cash, check, or PayPal.

If you are taking weekly lessons, your tuition for the month is due at the first lesson of each month (for example, if you have 4 lessons in the month, you would owe $200 on the first lesson of the month). This secures your day and time slot in my schedule.

If you are taking a single lesson, your tuition for the lesson is due no less than 72 hours prior to your scheduled date/time. Payment is due immediately if the lesson is booked on less than 72 hours notice.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Instructor cancelation – if I need to cancel a lesson, I give the option to make up the missed lesson at a mutually agreeable day/time. In the event that a makeup cannot be scheduled, I will credit the missed lesson on your next bill.

Student cancelation – If you need to cancel your lesson, I will offer you a makeup lesson as long as the cancelation falls within the following policy:

If it’s your first month of Weekly Lessons, I have a 48 hour cancelation policy. If you’ve been studying with me weekly for more than one month, I have a 24 hour cancelation policy. Single Lessons and Group Lessons are subject to a 72 hour cancelation policy. If the student fails to cancel within the allotted time frame, I cannot offer a makeup/credit for the canceled lesson.

REFERRALS:

I do my best to reward referrals from students and their families. If you refer me to a friend and they decide to book a lesson, I will credit both parties for one lesson, free of charge.
